Release Day: The Sweetest Oblivion by Danielle Lori
Every so often, a novel lands in my inbox that steals my attention from the opening page. This was the case when Danielle Lori contacted me with her novel The Sweetest Oblivion.
I worked with Danielle during the first half of 2018 to copy edit her gripping Mafia Romance novel, which is released today, 20 June 2018. You can purchase a copy of the book now by clicking here.
Working with Danielle to edit The Sweetest Oblivion didn't really feel like work at all. The story of Nico Russo and Elena Abelli offered blissful escapism, with the perfect balance of steamy passion and dark tension to leave every chapter a cliffhanger. Interwoven with all the awesome New York Mafia action and heat is the irresistible illicit love story of a mafia principessa and her sister's fiancé, the elusive boss of a rival gang—and yes, you guessed it: things take a very dangerous turn...
I'm so in awe of Danielle for crafting such an unputdownable novel—and I'm extremely grateful that she chose me as her editor. The Sweetest Oblivion truly was a joy to edit, and I wish Danielle all the success in the world for this novel and the following books in The Made Series.
It goes without saying that I highly recommend you buy a copy of this book, whether you're new to Mafia Romance or a seasoned reader. You won't regret it.
And if my words weren't enough to convince you, here's just a small snippet of the fiery passion found between the pages of The Sweetest Oblivion to leave you hanging on for more...
The Sweetest Oblivion, by Danielle Lori
Release Date: 20 June 2018
'My head rested on his chest, and the buttons on his dress shirt tickled my bare spine. I brought my hand to my waist and slipped my fingers between his. Our breathing filled the kitchen.
When I heard my brother’s laughter from downstairs, I realized how dangerous this was. Anyone could come in.
“You want me to respect you?”
It was a loaded question, but I only knew one answer. Only wanted one thing from this man, and only needed it once so I could know what it was like.
I shook my head.
I wanted him to disrespect me. Every inch of me.'
Congratulations, Danielle, and Happy Release Day to you!
